  	Government Notice. WATER ACT, 1912-1944 The Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission is prepared and has decided to grant a licence for a period of five years in respect of the following application for a licence under Part 11 of the Water Act, 1912-1944. Nicholas Richard Keogh, for a pump on the Clarence River, on portion 9, parish of Dunbar, county of Drake, for irrigation of an area of 12 acres subject to the following term, limitation and condition. The holder of the licence shall within three months of being called upon by the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission to do so, install to the satisfaction of the Commission in respect of location, form, type and construction, an appliance or appliances for the measurement of the quantity of water diverted or taken by means of the licensed work, such appliance or appliances to consist of either a measuring weir or weirs with automatic recorder or a meter or meters of the Dethridge type, or such other class of meter or means of measurement as may be approved by the Commission, and shall continuously maintain such appliance or appliances in good working order and condition, and shall, after the installation of such appliance or appliances, record the measurements of all water diverted or taken by means of the licensed work and supply particulars of such measurements to the Commission at such intervals as shall be directed by the Commission. Any person dissatisfied with the decision of the Commission in respect of the application may within the period of twenty-eight days fixed by the Act, lodge with the Commission an objection thereto in writing and. shall specify the grounds of objection.
