WOTHERSPOON-BELL
Members of the Methodist Girls'
Comradeship formed a guard of honour at Wesley Church, Armidale, on March 24, when Ida Winifred, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bell, of Armidale, was married to Percy Hugh Wotherspoon, of Lismore. The Rev. E. H. Wilson officiated.
The bride, who was given away by
her father, wore a trained gown of
pale pink bridal satin, and her cut
tulle veil, lent by Mrs. H. W. Farrah,
was held in place by a wreath of
orange blossoms.
She was attended by her sister Miss Elsie Bell, who wore pink chevron suede, princess line, and wore a halo of roses. Bride and maid each carried a shower bouquet of chrysanthemums, roses and maiden hair fern.
Mr. Prank Farrah. was best man.
The reception was held in Wesley Hall, where Mrs. Bell, wearing navy crepe, and carrying a bouquet of nasturtiums and autumn leaves, received the guests. The two-tiered cake was made by Mrs. S. Godfrey.
The honeymoon was spent In Brisbane, and Mr. and Mrs. Wotherspoon will reside in Lismore.
