DEUTCHMANN-BIANCHI.
One of the most popular marriages that has taken place here for a number of years was celebrated on Wednesday last, says our Bogantungan correspondent. Mr. Fred. Deutchmann, of the Railway Department, was joined in holy matrimony to Miss Sophia Bianchi, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi, of this place. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. J. A. White, of Emerald, and this ceremony was performed in the Anglican Church, which was tastefully decorated for the occasion. The church was packed to the utmost capacity with guests and spectators. The bride, who was given away by her eldest brother, Mr. Joseph Bianchi, looked exceedingly well in a bodice of white floral silk with transparent spotted net yoke, and valenciennes lace skirt trimmed with little frills looped up with orange blossoms. A slight train with veil and wreath of orange blossoms were also worn. She was attended by her two nieces-the Misses, Lottie and Violet Cunningham, who wore pretty dresses of cream voile, trimmed with net lace and insertion, with hats to match. Mr. Deutchmann was attended by Mr. John Bianchi, brother of the bride. After the marriage about seventy guests sat down to a sumptuous breakfast at the home of the bride's parents. The toast of the happy couple was proposed by Mr. White and supported by several friends and companions of the newly-married pair. All the speakers paid high tributes to the excellent qualities of the bride and bridegroom. The happy couple left by the evening train for Pialba, near Maryborough, where Mr. Deutchmann's parents reside. The going away dress was a pretty dove grey richly trimmed with floral silk ribbon. The hat was a white straw crinoline, trimmed with net lace and a wreath of daisies. After the departure of Mr. and Mrs. Deutchmann the guests were entertained at a dance, which was kept up till well after midnight. The presents were numerous and valuable.
