Aswel Apted, Maryborough officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a pretty dress of cream voile, with a beautiful wedding veil, and was attended by Miss Stalley as bridesmaid, and Mr. James Curtis acted as best man. After the ceremony was performed the party adjourned to the sitting room, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was prepared. The health of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. Apted and responded to by the bridegroom. The health of the bridesmaid was proposed by the best man. During the day the bridegroom was presented with an illuminated address by the officers and preachers of the Mcthodist Church,, with which he has been connected for many years The beautiful three-tier wedding cake was made by Messrs. Bareler Bros., Maryborough, and was a credit to that firm.
