OBITUARY
A well knoen and respected resident of Nikenbah, Mr. Robert Wood, passed away at his residence, "Woodlands," Nikenbah, yesterday morning. Deceased was born at Eden, New South Wales, and came to Nikenbah 25 years ago, and started sugar growing, dairying and mixed farming. He was married twice. His first wife predeceased him in 1901 while in the Richmond River district, N. S. Wales. He leaves a second wife, Mrs. Alice Wood, and a grown-up family of six sons and eight daughters, namely, Messers John Robert (Nikenbah, Henry Wiliam (Springshore), N.S.Wales), Charles James (Bauple), Earl Murray (Tinana) Bobcrt (Eldsvold) and Glen Morton (Nikenbah); daughters, Mesdames O. H. Gollan (Sydney, N. S. Wales), H. Boman (Ballina, N.S. Wales),G. Ainsworthe (Ballina, N. S Wales), J. Johnson (Gympie), J. Black (Glen Innis, N. S. Wales), P. Horn (Nikenbah), D. Bates (Dundowran),-and. Miss Milard May Wood (Nikenbah). The funeral will leave his late residence, Nikenbah, this (Thursday) morning at ll.30 for, the Nikenbah cemetery.

FUNERAL.
The funeral of the late Mr. Robert Wood took place yesterday morning from his late residence, "Woodlands," Nikenbah, and was attended by many relatives and a large gathering, of friends from Maryborough and Pialba district. Many floral wreaths were placed on the casket, and many messages of sympathy were extended to the bereaved widow and family. The pall-bearers from the residence were Messrs. J. R.,C. J., E. M., R. and G. Wood (sons), and D. Bates (son-in-law), and from the hearse to the graveside Messrs P. Horn (son-in-law, A. Granzin, H. V. Carlson, C. Deutchmaann, N. Christiansen and H. Cooke (friends). The Rev. W. P. Wellington held an impressive service at the residence and at the graveside.
