  	The death of Mr John Stoyles, aged 64 years, occurred in the Winton hospital. Mr Stoyles, who was a line inspector for the PMG Department, and who had visited Winton periodically for several years, arrived in Winton on inspection duties and was admitted to hospital shortly afterwards in a serious condition. Mr Stoyles was born at Mt Prospect, Victoria, and had resided in Queensland for 3S years. His home was in Charters Towers. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, The latter and one son residing in Charters Towers. His wife predeceased him in Townsville in 1942.
