On Wednesday June 15 a large number of relatives and friends assembled at Campfield farm, Miva, the residence of Mr. Hans Jorgen Heidemann, to witness the wedding of his son, Marthin Dethleff Heidemann, to Catherine Margaret Kunst, the daughter of Hans Jacob Eunst, farmer, Greenwood. A large number of handsome and useful, presents were presented to the happy pair by their relatives and friends. Although the day was very wet, yet the wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed them selves, and were mosthospitably treated by the parents of the bridegroom. After the usual wedding feast had been partaken of, and the wedding toasts had been drunk, things were cleared away, and dancing was kept up until the "wee sma oor's ayont the twal," and all went merry as a marriage bell.
