DEATH
CHRISTIANSEN.-At her late residence. Urangan-road, Nikenbah. on July 16, 1940, ANNE MARGRETHA, wife of late Anders Christiansen, and mother of Henry, Norman, and Frank Christiansen, Mrs. M. A. Nielsen. Mrs. C. Tessman, Mrs. D. W. Hume, Mrs. E. J. O'Dwyer, and Miss Martha Christiansen. Aged 75 years and three months.

THE relatives and friends of the late ANNE MARGRETHA CHRISTIANSEN are respectfully invited to attend her funeral to move from her late residence Urangan-road, Nikenbah. TO DAY (WEDNESDAY) at 3 O?CLOCK, for the Nikenbah Cemetery.

OBITUARY
MRS. A. M. CHR1STENSEN
The death occurred at her residence, Urangan-road, Nikenbah, of an old and respected resident, Mrs. Anne Margrethe Christiansen, aged 75 years, widow of the late Mr. Anders Christiansen. The deceased was born at Sonderberg (Denmark) in 1865. She came to this country with her parents at the age of 17 on the sailing ship Scottish Admiral in April, 1882, and landed in Maryborough in April 1882. Mrs. Christiansen's parents selected in the Nikenbah district shortly after their arrival, and she was married in 1884. She and her husband took up residence at Urangan road, where Mrs. Christiansen had since resided. Her husband predeceased her by eighteen months. She leaves a family of three sons, Messrs; Henry (Kingaroy), Norman and Frank Christiansen (Nikenbah), and five daughters, Mesdames A. C. Nielsen (Maryborough), C. Tessman (Boynside, via Kingaroy), D. W. Hume (Hong Kong), E. J. O'Dwyer (Proserpine), and Miss Martha Christiansen (Nikenbah). There are also seven grandchildren. The funeral will leave her late residence, Nikenbah at 3 p.m. to-day for the Nikenbah Cemetery.
