    Sanders-Hutson
PIALBA, June 25.-The Pialha Methodist Church was the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday, June 8, when Vera Mavis, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hutson, Pialba, was married to Alexander G., only son of Mrs. I. Sanders and the late Mr. A. Sanders, of Dundowran. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride.

The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, who subsequently gave her away. She was charmingly gowned in magnolia satin, the cowl neckline of which was encrusted with pearls, while the ankle-length skirt was fashioned with a train. Her veil was held in place by carnations, and she carried a bouquet of carnations and roses.

The bridesmaid, Miss Iris Nissen, was frocked in gold organdi over taffeta, and wore a wide-brimmed organdi hat of the same shade. She carried a bouquet of calendulas.

Mr. Cliff Christensen attended the bridegroom as best man.

The reception was held at the Pialba Hotel, where the bride's mother received the guests, wearing a costume of wine matalasse and carrying a bouquet of genberas.

The bridegroom's. mother chose navy georgette, with hat and accessories to match. She carried a bouquet of sweetpeas.

The tables, which were arranged U fashion, presented a most attractive appearane, the artistic decorations trains carried out in rainbow hues wirh the golden tint predominant. Marigolds and graceful, golden daisies comprised the floral decorations, a handsome square-shaped, double-tierred wedding cake suitably decorated, occupied pride of place on the bride's table. The usual toast list was honoured.

The happy couple were the recipients of many useful presents, including cheques, and many congratulatory telegrams were received.

On leaving for the honeymoon, which was spent on a motor tour, the bride wore a frock of Japonica niatalasse, with which wss worn a navy coat and hat to harmonise. The future home of the young couple will be at Dundowran.
