In St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church. Melbourne, on December 23 the Rev. G. S Brodle officiated at the marriage of Mr. Samuel Brisbane Mackie (son of the late Robert Mackie and of Mrs Mackie. Lutwyche, Brisbane) and Miss Emma Thelma Lindholdt (elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Lindholdt, Urangan).

The bride, who was given away by her father, was frocked in Ivory georgette allied with angel skin lace and her Brussels net veil was arranged with orange blossom; she carried white dahlias.

Mrs. A. Hansen attended as matron of honour, and wore a frock of apricot tinted voile and guipure lace, and a hat
    to tone.

Miss Daphne Lindholdt (sister of the bride), who was bridesmaid, wore a toilette similar to the matron of honour. Mr. Noel Horsfal was best man.

The wedding breakfast was served at King's Cafe. Mrs Mackie relieved her Mack toilette with a posy of red roses. The honeymoon was spent in Brisbane.
