    WEDDING.
    GREBER-HANHEN
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Dagun on Wednesday, 20th. April, the contracting parties being Annie Christine, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Hansen (late Nikenbah) to Herbert Stanley, eighth son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Greber, N.S.W. The Rev. Everett, Gympie, officiated. As the bride entered the drawing room on the arm of her father who subsequently gave her away. Miss L. Hutson, of Pialba, played on the violin with very pleasing effect, "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden."
The drawing room was very nicely decorated by girl friends of the bride, whilst a large wedding bell in the centre was the work of the brides' aunts. The bride was gowned in cream crepe elegante, over cream satin charmense, carried out in early Victorian style, trimmed with silver beads, and panels of silver lace, and lined with shell pink georgette. A dainty girdle made of silver and georgette petal was caught with orange blossoms and silver horse shoe at waist. A very pretty hand embroidered veil caught with orange blossoms completed a charming outfit. Miss M. Hansen, sister of the bride, who acted as chief bridesmaid, was gowned in shell pink georgette over satin, heavily pin-tucked and trimmed with taffeta and beads, waist finished off with tea leaves and large bow of tulle at side.
Miss Vera Greber, sister of the bridegroom, who acted as second bridesmaid, wore a very prettv vieux rose georgette trimmed with pink flowers at sides and hat to match.
The bride and bridesmaids carried beautiful bouquets, the work of Mrs. Conroy S.M.,Dagun.
Mr. N. Greber, brother of the bridegroom carried out the duties of best man and Mr. Ed. Hansen as grooms man.
After the ceremony, the bridal group were photographed by Mr. Morny, Gympie. The verandahs were nicely decorated by friends of the bride, and a sumptuous wedding breakfast was laid out, the chief attraction being a lovely three-tier cake, the work of Messrs Condie Bros.,Gympie.
After fell justice had been done to the good things provided, the Rev. Everett,in a neat speech, proposed the toast of "The bride and the bridegroom," which was musically honoured.
The bridegroom suitably responded and proposed "The bridesmaids." Mr. N. Greber acknowledged the toast and proposed "The parents." Mr. C. G. Hansen suitably rep1ied. Mr. P. J. Birt submitted the toast of the Rev. Everett, who responded in appropriate style. The singing of the National Anthem brought a very pleasant function to a close.
The bride's travelling dress satin charmante over silk, with the dress heavily trimmed with beads. She wore a hat to match. The presents were costly and handsome and included many cheques.
Mr. and Mrs. Greber subequentlv left by car for Gympie (amidst a shower of rose leaves and confetti) to catch the Northern mail for an extended honeymoon.
