A very popular wedding was celebrated on Thursday evening in the Exhibition Hall at Biggenden. The building was beautifully decorated with flags and foliage. The bridegroom, Mr. C. J. Stephensen, is the secretary of the A. and P. Society ; the bride, Miss Marie Tardent, is the second daughter of the manager of the State farm. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Archdeacon Rivers. At the end of the service various toasts were honoured, and dancing was kept up till daylight. The wedding presents were very numerous, and of a useful nature. It is estimated that fully 200 people attended the ceremony. The young couple spent the honeymoon at Pialba.
